About the Role
Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology initiatives across the organization. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner with IT leaders, technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to turn priorities into well-executed projects. From planning through implementation, you’ll provide the structure, communication, and oversight needed to deliver successful outcomes in a complex and growing healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects from initiation through planning, execution, and closure.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and align technical, business, and vendor partners.
- Track and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Identify and resolve risks and issues; escalate when needed.
- Manage scope changes through established governance processes.
- Support implementation readiness, including communication, training, and handoff.
- Monitor budgets, vendor commitments, and resource needs with IT leadership.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with PMO and compliance standards.
- Contribute to improving project management tools, processes, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of IT project management experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven success delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and lifecycle.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to managing risks and driving execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or similar certification.
- Experience with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, or enterprise applications.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow PPM, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or Monday.com.
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or other regulated environments.
