IT Project Manager

About the role

The IT Project Manager plans, coordinates, and executes infrastructure-focused technology projects, including device deployments, networking, and other IT initiatives. Approximately 50% travel is required throughout the Hudson Valley area for site assessments and project activities, with the remainder of work performed remotely or from the command center.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure and device deployment projects
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
• Coordinate meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders
• Conduct site assessments and support implementation activities across multiple locations
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and resource requirements
• Apply standard project management methodologies and best practices

Requirements

• Experience managing IT projects, particularly infrastructure, networking, and device deployment initiatives
• Strong project planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing project budgets and timelines
• Proficiency with MS Project, CA Clarity, or similar Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
• Familiarity with healthcare IT or Epic systems is a plus

Qualifications

PMP certification is not required; proven project management experience is preferred.
