Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end modernization and rewrite of a statewide licensing and quality platform. The initiative will improve licensing workflows, program operations, provider experience, system integration, and access to reliable information. The successful candidate will bring strong enterprise project leadership, experience with complex technology modernization, and the ability to align business, program, technical, security, QA, and vendor stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, requirements, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support for a full platform rewrite.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for modernization activities involving Salesforce or Salesforce integrations.
  • Build and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, milestones, risk logs, issue logs, and executive communications.
  • Cook up coordination with product owners, program staff, business analysts, architects, developers, QA, security, operations, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate input from licensing staff, quality-program administrators, service providers, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Manage scope, dependencies, resources, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations across the project lifecycle.
  • Lead change-management planning, test strategy, implementation readiness, statewide rollout, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with public-sector policies, data-security standards, governance, and reporting obligations.
  • Champion user-centered design and continuous improvement to reduce administrative burden and improve the user experience.
  • Provide clear, concise status, risk, budget, and decision reporting to senior leadership and oversight groups.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing large technology projects, system modernizations, or enterprise software implementations.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies, governance, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing requirements, scope, risk, issues, budgets, schedules, and executive communications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, Ohio as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience managing Salesforce projects or teams working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Salesforce applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM, workflow automation, case-management platforms, and system integration.
  • Experience with public-sector systems, human services, licensing programs, or quality-rating programs.
  • Knowledge of data migration, cloud application architecture, security, and compliance.
