Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Directs and manages IT project development and delivery from beginning to end.
- Facilitates project scope definition in collaboration with project sponsors.
- Develops IT project plans and associated communications documents and collaborates with an array of stakeholders, teams, and vendors to ensure the needed resources are available for project success.
- Develops and implements strategies to deliver projects according to business objectives and find improvements in the project lifecycle to deliver value sooner.
- Guides project through portions of the governance process.
- Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Works closely with the direct managers of project team members to maintain effective communication channels and ensure the appropriate development of individuals involved in the project.
- Buils, develops, and grows relationships vital to the success of the project.

- Leadership & team management - Ability to guide cross-functional teams, make decisions, and maintain momentum through delivery
- Communication & stakeholder management - Clearly align business, tech teams, and leaders; keep everyone informed and engaged
- Project planning & execution - Build realistic plans, manage scope/timeline/resources, and drive delivery against commitments
- Risk & problem management - Proactively identify risks, mitigate issues, and adapt quickly as things change
- Basic technical / domain knowledge - Understanding of application development and associated processes
Plusses
- Waterfall / Agile / hybrid delivery experience - Familiarity with Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models to adapt to evolving requirements
- Tool proficiency (PM & collaboration tools) - Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar for planning, tracking, and reporting
