About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for working on infrastructure remediation, development, security, and legacy modernization projects.
Major duties include:
- Coordinate, plan, complete, and evaluate infrastructure remediation, development, security, and legacy modernization projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business product owners, and other project team members to elicit requirements and user stories.
- Coordinate work teams and project resources using standard project management practices such as PMI or DIR frameworks.
- Work within Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall project environments to support moderate-scope projects.
- Participate in agile scrum team meetings, work sessions, and project interactions with business owners, vendors, and other contractors.
- Identify project risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate or avoid them.
- Produce written and oral presentations, including technical and user documentation.
- Document workflows, business processes, project information, and status reports.
- Work independently in a virtual collaborative setting and support successful project delivery.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with the following experience:
- 8 years of experience monitoring project requirements, resources, and status.
- 6 years of experience working as a project manager on small to medium projects, gathering requirements, identifying project risks, and maintaining project documentation.
- 6 years of experience eliciting and documenting requirements from end users and working on project documentation.
- 6 years of experience compiling and distributing project information, status reports, resource tracking, and budget expenditures.
- 6 years of experience handling multiple initiatives, projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a consistent standard of quality.
- 6 years of experience testing applications to ensure user requirements are met.
- 4 years of experience interpreting and communicating complex management concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- 4 years of experience coordinating project activities with other state agencies, governmental jurisdictions, or private sector partners and contractors.
- 4 years of experience providing excellent and courteous customer service internally and externally.
- 6 years of experience writing user documentation.
- 6 years of experience scheduling and conducting Scrum meetings, such as daily standups, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
- 4 years of experience working on QAT projects and documentation.

Pay and Schedule
The details of the position are:
- Rate: $100.00/hour W2 Contract.
- Worksite Location: Austin, Tx 78701.
- Onsite Contract Length: 3 Years.
