IMP NotesLocation: Hybrid Wilmington, DE (3 days onsite/week)Duration: 12 months - possible extensionInterview: 2 rounds (1 Screening phone call and an in person interview) candidate must be able to come to in person interview to be considered.Minimum 5 years experience as a PM needed to be considered.Position SummaryClient is seeking a contract IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple concurrent technology projects using traditional waterfall and Agile methodology.This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management - from planning through closeout - across enterprise infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity initiatives, and requires the ability to communicate project status and risk clearly to senior leader.Handling around 5 project ranging from large to small.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple IT projects simultaneously supporting client from initiation through closeout using waterfall methodologyDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and roadmapsCreate and manage risk and issue trackers; proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate project risksDefine project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements in coordination with stakeholdersTrack budget, timeline, and resource allocation against baseline plansCoordinate cross-functionally with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, business and vendor teamsPrepare and deliver status reports and presentations to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersManage vendor and contractor deliverables where applicableDocument lessons learned and support continuous improvement of PM practices within the IT organization Required QualificationsProven experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects in a waterfall/structured methodology environmentDemonstrated ability to build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, RAID/risk-and-issue logs, and status reporting artifactsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior/executive leadershipStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience working with cross-functional technical teams (infrastructure, security, applications)Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experiencePreferred QualificationsPMP certification (or equivalent)Prior experience managing mid-large sized IT projects specifically managing Finance related projects (reporting, data management, Enterprise level projects, compliance, audits)Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
