IT Project Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Plans, controls, and executes project requirements following Centre processes
• Works with Resource Managers to staff projects
• Defines and communicates roles for project team members (functional-technical)
• Works with customers and technical resources to develop project plans, detailing work breakdown structures
• Ensures that requirements are contained within the defined scope
• Manages customer and external supplier deliverables
• Develops communication strategies and leads communications with key stakeholders
• Documents and drives issues through resolution, escalating to the customer and IT management as necessary
• Makes recommendations to improve project management processes
• Operates within a Scrum and Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement

Education/Experience/Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• 3+ years experience managing IT projects

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
• Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required
