IT Project Manager (5-7 years)

About the role

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a IT Project Manager (5-7 years) to join our pharmaceutical client in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 6-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay

• $106.00 - $116.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits
• ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment

Responsibilities

• Handles communication with business resources, sponsors, steering committee's and governance councils
• Crafts and maintains project charter and communicates status
• Builds and maintains an integrated project timeline which includes dependencies, effort, and resource driven timelines
• Requests work estimates based on effort instead of duration and communicates the importance of not including buffer in work estimates
• Influences adjustments to project timeline, budget, resources, and activities
• Provides critical path/critical chain information to project team members and leaders to influence the prioritization of work
• Facilitates status meetings and issue management
• Communicates the impact of project changes to portfolio manager
• Incorporates and handles execution of OCM plan, as a part of the overarching project plan
• Is accountable for facilitation of project management processes such as Quality Review Boards (QRBs), Project Peer Reviews, Timeline Risk Analysis (TRAs), and Lessons Learned
• Educates project team members on project processes and methodologies
• Relies on appropriate technical resources for specific application knowledge
• Possesses general awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements impacting the business area, and ensures project plan tasks align with quality requirements
• Facilitates identification and support of roles and responsibilities

Requirements

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship
• 5-7 years of IT project management experience
