Our work depends on a Program Director joining our team to ensure that our contract performance is aligned with our customer’s mission objectives. The environment is highly collaborative where staff and contractors work closely to design and build applications to support mission users.
Responsibilities
- Own overall program performance, serving as the single point of accountability for technical, cost, and schedule outcomes across all software and infrastructure efforts.
- Provide steady, proactive oversight, keeping projects on track and quickly resolving implementation issues before they become bigger problems.
- Build and lead a resilient team, staffing the effort with cleared, qualified personnel who stay current with evolving technologies and can flex to meet changing mission needs.
- Drive transparent, consistent reporting, keeping status, cost, schedule, and performance visible through regular reviews and structured status updates.
- Foster strong working relationships across organizational and agency boundaries, representing the program in technical exchanges, governance reviews, and leadership briefings.
- Plan for continuity, mitigating single-threaded risk and ensuring smooth transitions whether staff turnover or the program itself changes hands.
- Champion quality and process discipline, embedding QA practices aligned to industry standards (ITIL/CMMI) into how the team operates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- US citizenship required
Skills
- Cloud Services – Preferred certification in cloud technologies utilized by the Customer, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google
- Event Bus Programming – Has experience with publish/subscribe technologies and messaging products such as Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and/or Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS)
Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $228,650 – $309,350. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
