Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs.
- Roadmap Planning: Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and improvements based on market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to drive product development and delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as stakeholders' primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- User Experience Optimization: Advocate for exceptional user experiences, working closely with design and engineering teams to prioritize usability and accessibility improvements.
- Product Launch: Lead the successful launch of new products and features, coordinating launch activities, preparing go-to-production plans, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance and success, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, iterating on product features and processes based on user feedback, data insights, and market dynamics.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product management peers and other stakeholders to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a passionate customer advocate, representing their needs and interests in product decisions and initiatives.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies impacting product delivery or performance.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management, sharing insights and knowledge with the broader organization.
- Business Impact: Drive measurable business impact through product innovation, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share expansion.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
- Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant and practical experience with HR/Payroll.
- Special Skills: Methodology: Strong knowledge of Agile Product & Waterfall methodology. Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (Clarity, MS Projects, Jira, etc.). Development: Understanding of software/product development lifecycle. Communication: Effective communication, able to present to senior leadership. Decision-Making: Value-based decision-making. Problem-solving: Analytical skills for diagnosing and solving issues. Organization: Managing time, prioritizing tasks, and handling responsibilities.
