IT Principal Developer, Banking Applications
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Develops strategy and roadmap for delivering innovation and automation while analyzing detailed business requirements and specifications for the application.
- Configures internally developed applications and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages.
- Plans application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
- Maintains relationships with clients while communicating with IT and business management and monitors prompt response and support for technical issues.
- Receives activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections.
- Led process improvements, cost reduction efforts, tool development to improve the software development and support process in a way that reduces complexity, improves service, and reduces cost.
- Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of Java/.Net experience in developing Banking applications
- 10 years of experience in BPM based workflow design and development
- 2 to 3 years of AI based solution development which includes N8N, LangGraph
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Kong API management
- Expert on applications SDLC, monitoring, logging and support
- Experience in Agile based execution environment
