IT Portfolio & Transformation Manager
Location: Rosemead, California (On-Site)
About the role
Lead an integrated technology portfolio across multiple business and IT workstreams. Drive portfolio governance, financial oversight, risk management, prioritization, and executive reporting. Align Customer Service, IT, Finance, Procurement, vendors, and delivery partners. Establish scalable PMO processes, operating models, and governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Own integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, critical path, risks, issues, decisions, and changes.
- Manage portfolio budgets, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, contingency, and value tracking.
- Prepare concise portfolio reporting and decision-ready materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Coordinate intake, prioritization, vendor oversight, change control, and PMO governance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven IT portfolio, program, or PMO management experience across multiple technology workstreams.
- Strong portfolio financial management, forecasting, risk, issue, dependency, and change-control expertise.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience working across hybrid Agile and stage-gated delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
- Utility, regulated-industry, or other complex enterprise transformation experience.
- Customer-service technology experience, including conversational AI, contact centers, billing, collections, or SAP.
- Experience mobilizing a new PMO and establishing sustainable operating models and governance.
- Familiarity with enterprise portfolio tools and multi-vendor technology transformation programs.
