Responsibilities
- Leading, training, and developing direct report employees who manage projects, programs and/or portfolios
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring employee work assignments and performance
- Overseeing multiple projects, programs, and/or portfolios concurrently and effectively maintaining prioritization
- Developing and monitoring metrics and key performance indicators
- Establishing and maintaining PMO standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Communicating with business stakeholders
- Managing risk at project, program, and/or portfolio level
- Managing project, program, and/or portfolio financials and budgets
- Implementing continuous process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of direct project or program management experience, with at least 3 years overseeing multiple projects concurrently
- 3+ years of leading or mentoring project managers
- Previous experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- 8+ years supervisory experience managing direct reports
- 5+ years of direct IT project or program management experience working with IT software development and/or IT infrastructure teams, with at least 3 years overseeing multiple projects concurrently
- Previous experience in IT Portfolio Management including selecting, prioritizing and scheduling projects
- Previous experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and ROI analysis for IT initiatives
- PfMP Certification
