IT PMO Analyst with Security Clearance
About the role
The successful candidate will support the direction of the program, develop, guide and monitor all aspects of schedule, administration and performance. They will also be responsible for coordination and collaboration with Government officials, to keep them informed and up to date on the program status.
Responsibilities
- Performs as a project lead, experience in managing project schedule and performance.
- Directly contributes to project definition, requirements development and/or enhancement efforts including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.
- Performs analysis of business and user needs, requirements, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper requirements specifications.
- Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary and the ability to block and tackle issues to achieve the most efficient and effective execution of the project objectives.
- Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
- Communicates status, requirements, metrics with leadership and customers.
- Maintain focus on organizing and managing time and resources for the program deliverables.
- Specifically support the following activities/functional areas:
- Prepare Project status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government
- Communicate issues and solutions to the Government PM in a timely and transparent manner
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractors contracts staff
- Develop/streamline processes to ensure mission accomplishment and program deliverables.
- Aid the SAIC PM by providing input to customer deliverable reports
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with poly is required
- Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in Program Management
- 10+ years of related experience in program and project management and or business process analysis / PMO Analyst type of role
- Experience using Agile Scrum Methodology and working knowledge of JIRA
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- IT knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with Cloud technology desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PMP preferred
