Summary
The job of the Network System Specialist for the Alliance Safety Council is to maintain the computer network, test systems, correctly diagnose and repair hardware and software problems. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position requires no supervisory responsibilities.
Customer Service & End-User Network System
- Serve as the primary IT contact for end users, delivering professional, responsive, and customer-focused Network System.
- Build positive working relationships with employees across all departments.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions in a clear, understandable manner.
- Take ownership of Network System requests through resolution and follow-up.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 Network System for desktops, laptops, peripherals, applications, and enterprise systems.
System & Infrastructure
- Maintain Windows Server and Desktop Environments.
- Manage Virtualization Platforms (VMWare) and Storage (SAN).
- Network System Active Directory, Group Policy and Login Scripting.
- Perform Regular Server Maintenance, Patching and Monitoring.
- Networking & Security: TCP/IP Networking, DNS and DHCP, Troubleshoot VPN Connectivity Issues.
- Administrate User Creation, Endpoint Security and Access Controls.
Cloud & Identity
- Network System Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ID), Exchange and Cloud Services.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and Maintain PowerShell Scripts for Automation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Network System Security Camera System: Recommend and Procure IT Hardware and Software Solutions.
- Travel to Remote Offices (LA/TX) When Required.

Physical Demands

Work Schedule
- The work schedule of the IT Network System Specialist is Monday – Friday, in office, at least 8 hours per day.

- The ability to communicate effectively, build trust, and contribute to a cohesive team environment is equally as important as technical proficiency.
- A two (2) year degree in a field related to software, hardware, or information systems or high school education/GED plus at least 4 years’ experience in customer service/Network System, preferably in a technical field.
