About the role
The selected candidate may work at our HQ in Chicago, or in any of our district office locations.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and forecasting the use of program funds by using and applying techniques to monitor indicators and identify trends and patterns to anticipate outcomes and inform decisions.
- Using advanced Microsoft Office tools such as Excel-based models that clearly show funds usage trends and program status, and PowerPoint briefings that translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Conducting assessments of effectiveness and operational efficiency to produce findings and recommendations.
- Cooking projects end-to end and presenting status results to leadership.
- Designing data collection methods and leveraging automation systems to compile qualitative and quantitative data to produce reports that support trend identification and forecasting.
- Solving complex issues through root-cause diagnoses and implementable solutions.
- Reviewing and preparing contracts and detailed budget justifications.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required.
Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
- Specialized experience includes:
- Analyzing and forecasting the use of program funds by using and applying techniques to monitor indicators and identify trends and patterns to anticipate outcomes and inform decisions.
- Use of advanced Microsoft Office tools such as Excel-based models that clearly show funds usage trends and program status and, PowerPoint briefings that translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for leadership.

Pay
