About the role

The Senior Administrator leads and mentors the Planning and Systems staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They own the Project Management lifecycle, managing cross-departmental tech initiatives to ensure they finish on time and on target. They also oversee vendor approvals, risk assessments, and change control, ensuring updates are always improvements. Additionally, they maintain the "Source of Truth" by documenting system and process changes in the IT Department Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Planning and Systems staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Own the Project Management lifecycle, working cross-departmentally to ensure every tech initiative finishes on time and on target.
• Manage the high-stakes world of vendor approvals, risk assessment, and change control—ensuring every update is a step forward, not a step back.
• Oversee weekly/monthly information security reviews and lead the charge in responding to security incidents with precision.
• Maintain the "Source of Truth" by documenting vital system and process changes in the IT Department Handbook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and security best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Fluency in English; bilingual a plus.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.
