IT M&A Manager - Due Diligence, Integration, and Separation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side assessments of IT domains, identifying risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations for clients.
• Drive IT integration and separation initiatives from deal signing through post-close stages.
• Develop and oversee deliverables such as current state assessments, IT operating models, synergies, and transition plans.
• Manage project execution, establish governance frameworks, and develop status and risk reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address dependencies, risks, and align strategies with deal objectives.
• Lead discussions and presentations with senior IT and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years in technology/business consulting or related roles, with experience in IT transformation projects supporting M&A activities.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of post-merger IT integration, carve-outs, process reengineering, and IT risk management.
• Strong project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; experience in cost modeling preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex information, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
