IT M&A Director

Role Overview

This position involves leading IT assessments and execution for insurance Mergers & Acquisitions, focusing on buy-side and sell-side due diligence, integration, and separation. The role requires developing strategic recommendations, managing complex IT integration projects across insurance sectors, and providing thought leadership on core insurance platforms such as policy administration, claims, and digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of comprehensive IT due diligence and identification of risks, opportunities, and investments for client transactions.
• Management of IT integration and separation efforts, including assessments, operating models, and post-close plans.
• Leadership of strategic discussions with senior stakeholders, including CIOs and business leaders.
• Development and execution of go-to-market strategies for insurance technology modernization and digital transformation.
• Establishment of governance frameworks, utilization of AI tools for analytics, and collaboration across functions to identify dependencies and risks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum eight years of experience in technology consulting, leadership, or advisory roles related to IT transformations and M&A, especially in financial services and insurance sectors.
• Proven success in leading complex IT M&A projects, system integration/separation, and platform modernization.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and mentorship skills, with experience managing large, cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of IT ecosystems, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive stakeholders, with a willingness to travel as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
