About the Role

Applies technical skills and expertise to business and/or technical projects of low to moderate complexity. As a member of an agile team, you will implement new features and enable capabilities using modern software engineering tools. Every six months, you will rotate to a new team and assignment, which may include roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Quality Control.

You will be responsible for risk management by exchanging ideas, elevating concerns, and adhering to policies while ensuring a positive customer experience. Achieves results by identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks of all types within the Bank’s risk appetite.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through four six-month assignments over a two-year period within the Technology department, including at least two roles as a software engineer and two additional roles (e.g., Product Owner, Scrum Master) based on career interests and leadership consultation.
• Serve as an individual contributor on projects or agile teams.
• Complete work assignments in collaboration with senior staff members.
• Participate in learning sessions within Technology and leadership programs to gain insights into the bank, leadership strategies, and community involvement.
• Increase knowledge of the industry and Fifth Third Bank’s applications through available channels.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Relevant internship and/or co-op program experience preferred.
• Experience with software development and/or programming.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships.

The base salary for this position reflects the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries will vary based on factors such as role, skillset, experience, education, and geographic location.
