IT Lead Integrations Analyst

About the Role

The Lead Integration Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise interoperability solutions across the health system. This senior technical role serves as the subject matter expert for healthcare integrations, ensuring reliable and secure exchange of clinical, financial, and operational data between Epic and internal/external systems. Responsibilities include project management and coaching/mentoring other analysts on complex issues/projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise interoperability solutions.
• Serve as subject matter expert for healthcare integrations, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange.
• Manage projects and mentor other analysts on complex integration issues.
• Apply expertise in HL7 messaging, APIs, interoperability standards, Epic integration technologies, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate across technical and clinical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.
• Prioritize tasks, work independently, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of Healthcare IT experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, XML, JSON, X12, and web services.
• Knowledge of integration architecture, interface lifecycle management, and message transformation.
• Experience with healthcare information exchanges (HIEs), public health reporting, and interoperability frameworks.
• Proficiency with SQL and database querying for interface analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Ability to interact with all levels of hospital staff, vendors, and consultants.
• Critical thinking and independent judgment capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Epic Bridges Certification (required); Epic Care Everywhere certification preferred.
• Cloverleaf Certification or equivalent advanced integration engine expertise.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
