IT Intern

About the role

Coordinates technical aspects of Information Systems processes and projects under direction of IT Management.

Responsibilities

• Support Information Systems projects and initiatives
• Support Information Systems project team members
• Support operational technical requirements
• Triage of helpdesk ticketing system to appropriate IT staff
• Inventory control of PharPoint IT assets
• Desktop/Laptop support, installation, and modification
• Documentation review/creation of IT processes, software/hardware configuration guides, and user manuals
• Monitor all internal information systems and assist in required maintenance
• Comply with PharPoint's data integrity & business ethics requirements
• Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to PharPoint quality standards and SOP's
• Ensure that departmental equipment is maintained in good working condition and that departmental area(s) are maintained in a clean and orderly condition
• Adhere to all aspects of PharPoint's quality system
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma. Progress in obtaining Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent strongly encouraged.

Experience: Experience in a professional environment desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Other: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, and type/work at a computer
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more

Work Environment

General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Occasional work will be required in areas where computer equipment provides a higher level of noise.

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required
