As the IT Integrations Architect, you will play a key role in connecting enterprise systems that enable data-driven decision-making across Finance, Human Resources, and other core functions.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the enterprise integration architecture with a strong emphasis on Workday.
Establish integration patterns, standards, and best practices (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, etc.).
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align integration strategy with organizational goals.
Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
Design and oversee Workday integrations using technologies such as: Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs), Core Connectors (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Financials).
Lead integration efforts across Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, etc.). Ensure data consistency, security, and compliance across all Workday integrations.
Collaborate with developers and vendors to implement integration solutions.
Provide hands-on guidance in building, testing, and deploying integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
Oversee data transformations, mappings, and orchestration workflows.
Define integration governance, including documentation standards and lifecycle management.
Ensure integrations comply with security policies, data privacy regulations, and audit requirements.
Manage versioning, monitoring, and alerting strategies for integrations.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Security, and external partners.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Who You Are
Education & Training: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant professional experience).
Experience: 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture or development. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations.
Knowledge/Skills: Strong expertise in: Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.), API design and management (REST/SOAP), Data formats (XML, JSON, XSLT), Experience designing scalable, secure integration solutions in cloud environments, Strong understanding of HRIS and/or Financial systems integration, Workday certifications (Studio, Integration, or related areas), Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues, Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) and data security best practices, Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems (e.g., payroll providers, benefits vendors, ERP systems).
Must be a self-starter with the ability to operate with little supervision in fast-paced and complex environments. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $104,540.80 - $125,448.96 - $146,357.12/salary. Individual offers will be based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, education, skills, competencies, and experience.
