Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment
- Configure and install various network devices, servers, and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, quality of service) as well as servers and specialized Prada hardware
- Help maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems
- Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation, maintenance, or disposal
- Collaborating with other IT professionals within the organization and with third-party partners to ensure problem resolution, project deployment, and infrastructure enhancement
- Support various network projects as a member of the IT Infrastructure Service Desk
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
- Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
- Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers
- Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly
- Monitoring raised IT Tickets and ensuring that SLA are being followed
Compensation
This position will pay an annualized salary of $85,000 - $100,000 and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
