IT Infrastructure Administrator

We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator responsible for researching, evaluating, and advancing technologies to support business and manufacturing goals. Key Duties Include Partnering across technical and business teams to identify opportunities and develop scalable infrastructure and automation solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and flexibility.Leading proof of concept activities, developing prototypes, and recommending innovative IT strategies.Collaborating with IT teams to design, implement, and support infrastructure systems, integrating manufacturing and supply chain systems via APIs.Managing hardware/software selection processes, documenting research findings, and working with external vendors to stay current on technology trends.Balancing performance, security, and cost in designing infrastructure solutions, and supporting IT modernization initiatives.Conducting proof-of-technology activities, supporting technical feasibility assessments, and developing technical documentation. Qualifications Include Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.Minimum five years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or automation, with hands-on expertise in AWS, VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and enterprise systems.Strong skills in architecture standards, automation tools (Git, GitHub, AWS CDK), and APIs for system integration.Ability to design, evaluate, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions, with excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Experience supporting manufacturing and supply chain systems and working with external vendors is preferred. Workstyle: Onsite role with possible remote work one day per week; no relocation assistance provided.
