Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize computers, peripherals, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Provide day-to-day support for desktop operating systems, productivity suite applications, and production-related technology.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
- Support user account management, permissions, group policies, and password management within directory services.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related equipment.
- Support wireless networking, third-party applications, and mobile device management.
- Manage support tickets and ensure timely response and resolution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, equipment setup, asset recovery, and license management.
- Production Systems & Operations Support:
- Assist with enterprise resource planning system implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support data entry accuracy and system integrity across production and business processes.
- Help track, analyze, and report operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work with production teams to identify and resolve technology-related issues affecting operations.
- Provide administrative and technical support to Operations as needed.
- Collaborate with departments to improve efficiency through technology and process improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with desktop operating systems and productivity suite applications.
- Experience using spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of: Directory services, network domain management and policy configuration, fundamental networking protocols, wireless networking, network security appliances, various operating systems and mobile devices.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and manufacturing software.
- Understanding of AI tools and platforms used in business environments.
- Experience supporting multifunction printers, scanners, and production-related hardware.
- Strong customer service mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in situations with limited direction and changing priorities.
