IT Hardware Field Service Technician

About the role

TEKsystems has a PC Technician project focusing on Self Checkout Register Install tech. The project involves installing new self checkout registers, including demag pads and holders, ADA monitor mounts and arms, according to customer-provided documentation. Ensure all cables are securely connected and functional. Maintain cable hygiene by concealing routing, removing excess slack, eliminating trip hazards, and using approved cable management materials. Conduct testing and verification of installed devices, capturing required documentation and uploading it to a Kohl’s designated repository.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure self checkout registers
• Demag pads and holders installation
• ADA monitor mount and arm installation
• Ensure all cables are securely connected and functional
• Maintain cable hygiene by concealing routing, removing excess slack, eliminating trip hazards, and using approved cable management materials
• Conduct testing and verification of installed devices
• Capture required documentation and upload to a Kohl’s designated repository

Requirements

Support various areas in Phoenix and also visit stores in Tucson and Flagstaff. Mileage, drive time, and hotel expenses will be reimbursed. Project duration is 2 weeks.

• Hardware tech with a basic tool kit (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
