IT & EP Security Engineer

About the role

The IT & EP Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect company assets. This role requires expertise in network security, encryption technologies, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures and protocols
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security controls
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT security, preferably in a corporate environment
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and encryption software
• Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with cloud security and virtualization technologies
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

• Understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
