About the role
Procter & Gamble is seeking upcoming 2027 graduates in engineering (software, platform, or network) to apply innovative technologies to large-scale business problems. As a P&G IT Engineer, you will solve business problems using technology, working on projects such as:
- Building data pipelines to feed Machine Learning models on petabytes of data for global predictions
- Developing consumer-facing Internet of Things (IoT) platforms
- Creating serverless applications for business needs across HR and Information Security
You are a problem solver who writes code, debugs, and works hands-on, with the ability to independently identify and implement solutions. You take pride in building high-quality, automated, testable, and scalable solutions while collaborating with teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
Example responsibilities vary by role type:
Software Engineering
- Translate system requirements and user stories into scalable, maintainable application designs and high-quality code
- Develop, test, and validate solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
- Implement and support code throughout the software development lifecycle using CI/CD tools
- Collaborate with product, operations, and cross-functional teams for seamless integration with dependent systems
- Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions
- Stay current with emerging software development practices, technologies, security standards, and vulnerability management
Network Engineering
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions that support business objectives
- Lead technology lifecycle planning, define technical requirements, and validate new capabilities
- Partner with suppliers to deliver effective network solutions
- Serve as an escalation point for critical network issues
- Collaborate with operations teams and IT stakeholders on strategic projects
Platform Engineering
- Manage cloud platforms using configuration management to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions
- Drive platform standards and resolve cloud and security incidents
- Continuously improve engineering maturity across cloud services
- Lead innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives
- Evaluate third-party cloud solutions and collaborate with service providers and product teams
- Contribute to the Cloud Community of Practice to promote knowledge sharing and reusable code
Requirements
- Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical/IT field
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go)
- Strong understanding of network hardware and infrastructure (routers, hubs, servers, VPNs, switches)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
- History of solving hard problems with creative solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps philosophies

Pay
Starting salary range: $85,000.00 - $122,200.00 per year.
