IT Director - Transportation & Logistics

Location: Fullerton, CA (4 days onsite)

Compensation

$180,000+, with up to 20% bonus eligibility

We’re seeking an accomplished Director of IT to serve as the strategic technology driver for our Integrated Marine Logistics division. In this high-impact role, you'll shape the future of systems, infrastructure, and data strategies to optimize operational performance, support business growth, and deliver measurable financial outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven leadership with 10+ years of senior experience in logistics or transportation environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading major TMS (Transportation Management System) or enterprise system implementations.
• Strong strategic planning skills capable of translating business objectives into actionable technology roadmaps.
• Extensive knowledge of logistics operations, including dispatch, warehouse management, planning, and execution.
• Excellent project management capabilities to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Data-driven mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior leadership.

Skills

• Experience with logistics or warehousing technologies.
• Familiarity with change management practices to drive operational adoption.
• Vendor management expertise, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of systems supporting supply chain, warehouse, and transportation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Extensive leadership background within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Track record of aligning IT investments with operational and financial goals.
