IT Director – Enterprise Architecture - Hybrid US
About the role
Facilitate alignment between business and IT, and across the democratized IT landscape.
Engage business and IT stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships.
Adapt to changing business and operating models.
Analyze trends and disruptions, and assess their impact on targeted business outcomes.
Tell stories to visualize the future state and trigger long-term planning.
Set technology environment standards and guidelines.
Support various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric.
Communicate the value of enterprise architecture and its portfolio of services.
Drive the evolution of the EA team's services and operating model.
Manage a team of architects, coach and mentor other architects, product owners/managers, and business partners to instill architectural thinking.
Work with IT, Business Leadership, and Stakeholders to develop a strategy.
Connect strategy to execution.
Build the EA value proposition and structure business engagement.
Enable value-based messaging and handle multi-functional relationships.
Develop the business architecture.
Bring alignment across business and IT.
Collect, analyze, review, and refine innovations, trends, disruptions, opportunities, or ideas.
Develops, Tracks, and Leads Execution of Innovations, Trends, Disruptions, Opportunities, or Ideas.
Support Portfolio Modernization and Develop Roadmaps.
Support Solutions Design and Delivery.
Requirements
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
- Understanding business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.
- Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Understanding of various operating models, such as project-centric and product-centric, and different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
- Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments.
- Effective leadership skills with outstanding soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Mastery of all components of enterprise architecture, business & IT principles and processes.
Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 8 or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis, or experience as an enterprise architecture consultant.
- 8 or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multi tier environment.
- Enterprise Architecture Framework experience is required. Certification in at least ONE of the following is required: TOGAF, Zachman, FEA, or Gartner

Pay
The pay range for this position is $180,400 - $342,700 annually with a target incentive of 15-25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
