About the role

This large financial organization is undergoing a significant strategic application modernization initiative, focused on migrating legacy systems and enhancing overall application architecture, user interfaces, and API frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy applications from LUW databases to SQL Server
• Design and define database schemas and table structures
• Develop and enhance Java-based applications using Spring Boot
• Modernize front-end user interfaces with Angular and other web frameworks
• Build and update APIs for application modernization efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, Cloud, and Project Management

Requirements

• Strong Java development experience
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, including schema and data structure design
• Front-end development experience (Angular preferred)
• Ability to work independently and proactively engage stakeholders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
