About the role

The selectee serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Sys Admin) in the Information Technology Division in Arlington, VA. You will direct and manage USMS technology projects, including planning, designing, developing, securing, documenting, modifying, testing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications, services, or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations, and projects.
• Implement secure IT solutions, develop and test systems contingency security plans and disaster recovery procedures, assess IT systems risks, and identify and correct cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
• Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy expectations.
• Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in the organization's visions and goals.
