Responsibilities
As an IT Compliance Specialist, you are our risk navigator. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that IT's information risks and control activities are consistent with and supportive of the Control Objectives for Information Technology.
- Identify and document current controls in IT and assess their adequacy using COBIT as a frame of reference.
- Identify control deficiencies and develop a plan with IT management to implement controls needed to address deficiencies found.
- Design and implement policies, procedures, and solutions to close identified control deficiencies.
- Enhance existing policies and procedures to comply with new standards.
- Develop annual plans to monitor compliance of controls to COBIT standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations to project stakeholders.
- Create training materials on process and conduct classroom training, group, and one-on-one mentoring.
- Facilitate internal and external IT audits and ensure IT meets all audit and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
- 10 years experience in Information Technology and IT audit.
- 5 years experience using COBIT.
- 2 years Project Management experience.
- 2 years experience implementing policies and procedures.
- 2 years training experience.
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Skills
Additional preferred skills include:
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience using ITIL, CMM, and ISO 17799.
- CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP certification.
- Banking domain knowledge.
