IT Cloud Web Application Platform Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Pewaukee, Wisconsin; or Green Bay, Wisconsin. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on‑site) with regular time spent in the office.
About the role
Infrastructure Consultant for the Cloud Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure for the corporation. The Cloud Platform Engineer carries both operational and strategic responsibilities and collaborates with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud‑based applications and services.
Responsibilities
- Provision platform as a service and application‑based services in the cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams for cloud‑based application hosting.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud‑based resources.
- Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules.
- Collaborate with on‑premise infrastructure teams to align infrastructure standards.
- Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis for cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in a 24x7 on‑call support role on a rotating basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Azure and/or AWS development experience.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Terraform IaC, FinOps, CI/CD pipelines, or CNAPP.
- Experience with Azure Front Door, AWS ALB, web hosting, or WAF.
- Production support experience with large enterprise applications.
Pay
Pay range: $78,702.26 – $135,761.08. The starting salary within the range will be based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business needs.
