About the role
The Business Analyst II plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. They are responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed requirements, driving process improvements, and supporting solution design and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and interview stakeholders.
- Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Perform advanced data analysis, work with data models, dashboards, and metrics.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and user stories to support solution design.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and communication across business and technical teams.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives by aligning solutions with business objectives.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
- Ensure adherence to business analysis best practices, documentation, and traceability.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of business analysis experience (1–3 years in financial services preferred).
- Business Analyst certifications preferred.
- Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with requirements and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and improvement techniques.
- Strong data analysis skills; ability to query and interpret data.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management life cycle (PMLC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business resources.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team player.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel required based on business needs.
