About the Role
An IT Audit Manager leads operational and technical audits across diverse business units, providing independent insights to enhance controls, processes, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and report on risk-based audits, managing multiple projects and stakeholders independently.
- Assess risks related to operations, compliance, technology, and policies, translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Lead and develop audit teams, coach auditors, and promote a culture of strong controls and risk management.
- Deeply understand business processes, technologies, and emerging risks, using data analytics to inform audit conclusions.
- Influence senior stakeholders, communicate complex issues clearly, and drive remediation efforts to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Contribute to audit methodology improvements and standards across teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years in IT audit, risk management, information security, or related fields; 10+ preferred.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills; ability to influence and manage ambiguity.
- Familiarity with modern tech environments (cloud, distributed systems, AI/ML) and control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISSP) and a background in technology, finance, or engineering.
