Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance monitoring programs to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards.
- Identify, analyze, and report on any compliance risks or issues that may arise during audits.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to establish and maintain effective compliance and audit procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies and best practices.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, provide recommendations, and track implementation.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure the company adapts its compliance strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; relevant certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, compliance, or a related field, preferably within the outsourcing/offshoring industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to the industry, including NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, CMMC requirements, ISO 27001, and all applicable Data Protection and Privacy Laws (including EU GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA).
- Proficiency in audit and compliance management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prioritize teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
