Job Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in-person and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and laptop problems, including operating system errors, application malfunctions, and peripheral connectivity.
- Aid users with account management, password resets, and access requests for various internal systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Document support tickets, resolutions, and user interactions accurately in the IT service management system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or appropriate IT personnel.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and the use of common software applications.
- Participate in IT asset management activities, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment/retrieval.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Adhere to IT security policies and procedures, ensuring the protection of company data and systems.
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
Pay
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $60,000-$65,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
