About the role
The IT Architect will manage complex technology implementations, focusing on simplification and elegance. They will leverage open-source communities on IaaS providers, share knowledge across a multidisciplinary team, and align technical design with business growth.
Responsibilities
- Architect overall system using prototyping and proof of concepts involving modern programming languages, web frameworks, front-end web programming techniques, databases, automation, CI/CD, and monitoring solutions.
- Use version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Ensure strategic alignment of technical design to business needs and stay updated on emerging technologies.
- Decompose business and system architecture for multi-team development.
- Develop product roadmaps, backlogs, and success criteria, and write user stories.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to establish paths to delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming, or testing.
- Knowledge and experience in conceptual and detail design, JBoss Messaging, Spring-JMS, database schema design, and external interface implementation.
- Coordination with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communication with cross-divisional personnel.
- Directing team members in compiling business requirements and executing project milestones.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge and experience in Versata framework programming, BIRT forms development, mobile app development, Websphere platform, SOAP/REST services, Documentum repository, HR management systems, Agile methodologies, Project Management tools, ticket management systems, and ticketing systems.
- Experience with Versata framework, developing applications on Websphere, utilizing Agile methodologies, and familiarity with Project Management tools and ticketing systems.
- Experience with BitBucket, Git, SQL, and BeyondCompare.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
