IT Applications Engineer IV

About the Role

This position involves translating business requirements into software solutions, supporting the development of integrated applications, and providing technical consultation. It requires designing, developing, and delivering resilient, secure, multi-channel, cloud-based solutions using DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments, support projects, and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, solve complex problems, and recognize improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical insights, translate functional specs into program designs, and assist in system testing and troubleshooting.
• Support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and vendors, review technical documentation, and ensure solutions align with architectural standards.
• Lead, mentor, and train technical team members, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain database concepts, ensure data security, and manage information integrity.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in solution implementation involving SDLC.
• At least one year in a technical leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field, with six or more years of software development experience; relevant work experience may substitute for education.
