About the Role

Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for application software solutions. Collaborates with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the analysis and evaluation of application functionality.
  • Documents recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
  • Contributes to the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications.
  • Configures and verifies application setup and configuration.
  • Develops expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality.
  • Provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
  • Contributes to the analysis of potential application solutions and documents recommended solutions to address functionality gaps.
  • Works with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
  • Documents and reviews functional, architecture, and technical requirements and designs for process owners, business analysts, and architects.
  • Serves as a contact resource for content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and support.
  • Documents functional specifications for projects to guide program and configuration development.
  • Assist in preparing and refining datasets for AI model development, including data cleansing, validation, and basic analysis.
  • Work with development teams to test AI models and validate outputs against business expectations.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for AI-driven procurement tools and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations for AI tools and platforms, including basic research and comparative analysis.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance requirements are considered in AI-related initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for stakeholders on AI initiatives, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Designed for external candidates within 2 years of completing their highest degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or JD) from an accredited U.S. college/university.
  • For U.S.-based roles: F-1 visa students must have approved CPT or OPT related to their degree and authorized by their university.

Schedule

This role is 100% on-site with flexibility. Work is required to be completed in person due to the operational nature and specific job duties.
