About the role
The Enterprise Shared Solutions Security & Infrastructure Operations team plays a vital role in shaping technology. This position provides hands-on experience with maintaining system reliability, supporting security compliance initiatives, automating administrative tasks, and improving operational processes through documentation and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity, Risk Management & Compliance Support
- Use native cloud computing services tools to monitor environments, review user access logs, and assist in identifying security concerns.
- Support security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, compliance activities, and remediation of identified risks.
- Support audit preparation by gathering configuration and security documentation.
- Operational Automation Process Improvement & Scripting
- Apply scripting to automate routine administrative tasks.
- Assist in identifying manual operational processes that can be improved through automation.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts under guidance.
- Document automated processes and scripting procedures.
- Documentation & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Review and update SOPs.
- Develop troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain documentation in web-based collaboration and document management platforms.
- Infrastructure Documentation & Asset Management
- Document server inventories and dependencies.
- Maintain X.509 certificate inventory including expiration dates, CAs, binding locations, and owners.
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation.
Requirements
- 1 course or 2 months experience in Information Systems/Information Technology, or a related field including but not limited to: Software Engineering/Development, Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, Database Administration, Network, IT Security, and Help Desk/Customer Support.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
