ISSM (Bellevue, NE)
Position is located in Bellevue, NE and reports to the Site Lead within the USSTRATCOM department. This is a full-time exempt role supporting USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE.
About the role
USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component ensuring mission success and safety.
Responsibilities
- Performs oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy, with a special emphasis on integrating existing SAP network infrastructures.
- Develops and oversees operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines for network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Advises USSTRATCOM on Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization issues.
- Performs risk assessments and makes recommendations to USSTRATCOM.
- Develops and maintains a formal Information Systems Security Program.
- Develops policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, including investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
Requirements
- 3–10+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- One of the following certifications: CGRC, CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CISM, CISSP, Cloud+, or SSCP.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (SCI eligibility required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) (specializing in RMF implementation and authorizations) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).
- Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
- Excellent technical support and advisory capabilities across various levels of command.
