About the role

Twelve Six Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our security systems operate efficiently and that all security measures are properly implemented.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, management, and IT staff to support cloud-based systems.
• Support the architecture, development, implementation, and administration of cloud-based systems.
• Implement security solutions to protect sensitive data.
• Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Document business rules, technical capabilities, and develop quality metrics.
• Provide operational support, triage, and troubleshoot issues experienced by remote end users.
• Maintain monitoring of security systems to detect and respond to vulnerabilities.
• Track and update inventory of COTS software and hardware.
• Create system diagrams and senior management presentations using Visio and PowerPoint.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud-based systems architecture, development, implementation, and administration.
• Knowledge of customer Information Security practices and accreditation processes.
• Experience conducting security audits and documenting compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with Visio and PowerPoint for creating system diagrams and senior management presentations.
• Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software and hardware inventory management.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with a polygraph.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.

The salary range for this position is $145,385 - $218,078 USD annually.
