About the role

The position is a cable tech/helper supporting Medstar at the Georgetown and Washington Hospital locations, assisting the lead with MAC (Move, Add, Change) work for telecommunications devices for a 50+ year employee‑owned engineering firm’s telecommunications division.

Responsibilities

• Closet build outs
• Racking and stacking of equipment
• Installation of cable
• Site cleanliness
• Helper duties
• Performing MAC work on telecommunications devices
• Working with CAT6e, pre‑terminated fiber, phone systems
• Maintaining client‑facing professionalism
• Adhering to healthcare infectious control standards

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
