ISEE Instructor(Bilingual Mandarin)

About the role

As an ISEE instructor, you will prepare students for the Independent School Entrance Examination, a standardized test required for admission to private schools. Your duties include developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to help students improve their performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the specific content and format of the ISEE exam.
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials.
• Administer practice tests to evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses.
• Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Stay informed about changes to the ISEE exam and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources for ISEE preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, English, math, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students for standardized tests, preferably the ISEE.
• Strong knowledge of the content and format of the ISEE exam.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Certification in teaching or tutoring is a plus.
