This is a regular 10-month contract with full benefits effective the 2026-27 school year.
Schedule
10-month contract (August 13, 2026 – June 2027). By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain in their school for three school years.
Pay
Salary follows the NC Teacher Salary Scale plus a local Board-approved supplement. Hard-to-Fill (HTF) license areas receive an additional supplement.
- Base Supplement (all teachers): Years of Experience Monthly Annual 0-4 $700 $7,000 5-9 $750 $7,500 10-14 $850 $8,500 15-19 $900 $9,000 20-24 $950 $9,500 25+ $1,000 $10,000
- Hard-to-Fill Supplement (eligible license areas): Years of Experience Monthly Annual 0-4 $900 $9,000 5-9 $950 $9,500 10-14 $1,050 $10,500 15-19 $1,100 $11,000 20-24 $1,150 $11,500 25+ $1,200 $12,000

- Special Education K12
- Speech Language Pathology
- School Psychologist
- Secondary Math
- Secondary Science
- Health Science Education – RN/Non-RN/Biotechnology
- Scientific Visualization and Game Art Design
- Trade and Industrial Education – Construction/Carpentry/Drafting/Automotive Service
- Trade and Industrial Education – Digital Media Technology
- Engineering and Design Education
- Information Technology
