About the role

As a Delivery Driver at North Coast Electric, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the materials they need efficiently and accurately. This position involves working closely with both internal teams and external customers throughout the Puget Sound region.

Responsibilities

  • Scan bar codes at iSAM sites to determine material needs
  • Address customer needs, both internal and external, across the Puget Sound region
  • Process orders in Eclipse/Solar and interface with customers to identify product opportunities
  • Deliver material to customer sites and restock bins/shelves
  • Maintain shelves and bar codes at customer locations
  • Assist with inventory, clean-up, and set-up at customer sites
  • Work with the iSAM Lead and Outside Sales to develop additional customer opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license; experience driving company vehicles preferred
  • Proof of clean driving record with no major infractions within the last 3–5 years
  • DOT Medical Examiner’s Card
  • Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
  • Comfortable working with MS Outlook, Excel, and Solar Eclipse
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs)
  • Driving delivery vans up to 15 feet in length
  • Forklift and stock picker operation
  • Warehouse environment and customer locations
  • Frequent computer usage
  • Usual 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs
  • Requires punctual, regular, and reliable on-site attendance

Pay

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. Pay ranges from $21.11/hour to $26.39/hour, depending on experience.
