IS Technician - Hiring Event

About the role

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Hydro Blaster/Field Technician to join their safety-conscious team. This position is ideal for transitioning military personnel who wish to leverage their skills and training in a civilian setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative, ensuring adherence to company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Operate manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning and chemical equipment.
• Examine surfaces to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Interface with customer representatives to ensure job setup and performance meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Implement procedures as directed by the branch manager.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and TWIC card.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, including fire extinguishers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, and climbing.
• Physical stamina to lift and maintain a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and environments.
• Proficiency in English for safety training and emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Vocational preparation including safety training and on-the-job training.
• Essential experience gained on other jobs relevant to the role.

• Hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment.
